SDT to Unveil Advanced Analytical Solutions LIBS and DTS at InterBattery 2025

Experience real-time analytical technology driving practical innovation in the industrial field on-site.

SDT will present advanced analytical solutions LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) and DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing) optimized for industrial environments at InterBattery 2025.
This exhibition will provide an opportunity for visitors to directly experience the performance and value of the technology through a real-time demo presentation reflecting actual industrial application environments.

LIBS | Real-time Element Analysis Based on Laser Induced Spectroscopy

LIBS is a technology that utilizes high-energy lasers to analyze elements on the surface of materials in real-time, supporting high-precision and high-speed analysis from inspecting impurities on battery surfaces to identifying recovery targets for metals in black mass.

  • Industrial-specific equipment design and durability applications

  • Analysis of various materials such as solids, powders, and liquids without sample pretreatment

  • Compatible with conveyor belt integration, optimized for automation compared to handheld methods

LIBS is gaining attention as a practical analytical solution applicable to various processes in battery recycling, semiconductors, refining, power plants, and food and pharmaceutical industries.

DTS | Fiber Optic Based Distributed Temperature Sensing System

DTS is a high-resolution real-time monitoring system that can detect temperature changes over tens of kilometers in 1m increments using fiber optics.
Based on Brillouin and Raman scattering, it is optimized for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection such as pipe leaks, equipment overheating, and fire detection.

  • Temperature range measurement from -20°C to +120°C

  • High-precision analysis with a resolution of 0.1°C

  • Effective for managing hazardous infrastructure such as power plants, data centers, underground utility tunnels, and railways

SDT provides automation and intelligent analysis capabilities based on real-time data by integrating LIBS and DTS with edge computing devices (ECN, NodeQ) and an AI analysis platform (SDT Cloud).
This aims to enhance operational efficiency and stability across the manufacturing and recycling industries.

We invite you to experience the technologies that drive practical changes in the industrial field through on-site demos and technical briefings held at the SDT booth.

Date: Scheduled for 2025
