SDT Inc.
SDT is pioneering new possibilities at the forefront of quantum technology commercialization across quantum computing, quantum cloud, quantum communication, and quantum sensing. By integrating quantum technology with digital transformation, SDT is accelerating the adoption of quantum solutions in industrial settings and expanding its presence on the global stage through partnerships with leading domestic and international partners. Through continuous innovation and collaboration, SDT is turning the infinite possibilities of quantum technology into reality.
From a young age, he was fascinated by natural sciences and began his journey into quantum physics during high school by joining Professor Vladan Vuletić's laboratory in the Department of Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
While pursuing his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering at MIT, he conducted research on key quantum computing technologies, including neutral atoms, diamond NV centers, ion traps, and photons, gaining a broad perspective and expertise in the quantum technology ecosystem.
Subsequently, he contributed to the advancement of quantum technology in South Korea at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
Building on the insights gained as a researcher, he founded SDT Inc. in 2017, embarking on a mission to integrate quantum technology into industry and everyday life. Leading the development of South Korea's first full-stack quantum computer and the expansion of the quantum technology ecosystem, he continues to drive SDT's growth.
