“The Future of Quantum Technology, Into Industry and Everyday Life”
SDT (CEO Yoon Ji-won), a company specializing in quantum standard technology and industrial DX solutions, will participate in the international quantum technology event ‘Quantum Korea 2023’ held at the Seoul Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from June 26 (Monday) to 29 (Thursday), showcasing various experimental and measurement equipment and industrial solutions that support domestic quantum technology research and development.
From Quantum Phenomenon Experiments to Industry, SDT's Measurement and Control Solutions
At this exhibition, SDT will introduce experimental equipment and communication solutions that can practically support research and development in various fields such as quantum computing, sensing, and security, as well as the technology that extends quantum phenomena beyond the laboratory to the field and industry.
Key equipment includes the domestically produced simultaneous counting device (CCU), time tagging measurement device TTMU (Time Tagging Measurement Unit), and QCU (Qubit Controller Unit) capable of precisely controlling qubit reliability, which has attracted attention from domestic and international research institutions and quantum companies as core measurement equipment for enhancing the precision and reliability of qubit-based quantum systems.
1:N Scalable QKD·QRNG Based Quantum Security Devices
SDT will also exhibit the QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) system based on quantum security technology and the QRNG (Quantum Random Number Generator) technology applied to the hacking-proof secure IP camera NodeV and next-generation edge security module NodeQ.
In particular, SDT’s independently developed 1:N quantum key distribution (QKD) structure has dramatically improved the efficiency of existing quantum security infrastructure and has been noted for enabling real-time secure communication even in cloud and IoT environments. It is evaluated as a practical and scalable quantum security solution that can contribute to future quantum network infrastructure development and communication structure innovation in high-security environments such as smart cities, defense, and finance.
Building Infrastructure for a Technological Powerhouse, SDT's Role
SDT is focusing on creating an independent ecosystem based on domestic equipment and communication technology in the commercialization of quantum computing, sensing, and security technology, and is also leading the future-oriented quantum application infrastructure development project including cloud-based precision measurement systems.
From ultra-precision measurement devices to quantum security and cloud-based applications, SDT will provide integrated solutions covering the entire cycle of quantum technology commercialization, contributing to securing South Korea's technological sovereignty and strengthening the competitiveness of the quantum industry.
SDT Technical Session Presentation
‘Advancing Quantum Technologies at SDT’
During the technical session held during the event, CEO Yoon Ji-won will present the ‘Advancing Quantum Technologies at SDT’ theme, which contains SDT's quantum technology roadmap and technical self-sufficiency achievements, introducing various quantum application devices and security and communication solutions while sharing future industrial expansion directions.
Please check the evolution of quantum technology that continues from experiments to industry at the SDT exhibition booth.
