The Smart Hub integrates humidity, temperature, ultrasonic water level, a variety of gas, and open/close sensors for installation on flood gates or manhole covers for all-in-one coverage, enabling total instantaneous data collection.
SDT Smart Hub is the evolution of urban environmental monitoring and smart city engineering.
SDT Smart Hub
Unlike single sensor systems, the Smart Hub combines sensors for humidity, temperature, water level, gas, and open/close access in one small device. The Hub brings environmental safety and quality control standards to local governments, organizations, and administrators.
Rapid Response Monitoring
With a precision sensor network, the Smart Hub monitors the status of flooding, fires, toxic gases or low oxygen, or other extreme situations at every installation site. In the event of worsening or non-safe conditions, the Smart Hub automatically sends warning notifications and alerts via Slack and a web-based dashboard so that the right people can quickly respond to emergency events.
Constant Connectivity
Even when placed underground, the Smart Hub maintains connectivity through a partner manhole cover technology made from an eco-friendly polymer, unlike those made of cast iron. The Smart Hub uses LTE Cat M1 to provide stable, low-power long distance communication and does not require additional communication network infrastructure or router installations.
Increased Infrastructure Longevity
The Smart Hub allows administrators to remotely monitor their underground environments in real time, thus reducing the costs of periodic site inspections and preventing early equipment failure. SDT provides FOTA (firmware-over-the-air) and maximizes battery lifespan with power regulation controls to reduce unnecessary maintenance procedures.
Smart Hub DashBoard
The cloud-based dashboard allows users to monitor all installed Smart Hubs on a single page. Adjust the thresholds for warnings or critical alerts and set the responsible individual for every site or every sensor. The dashboard also enables notification rules for real-time emergency situations. The SDT Smart Hub dashboard is transforming the infrastructure management of the past to the predictive maintenance technology of today's smart cities.

Why SDT Smart Hub?
The Smart Hub Communicate using wireless LTE Cat M1 for global network availability.
Connect the Smart Hub with any sensor that supports a serial network, such as I2C, RS485, RS232, and UART. Consult with our sales team for specific requests.
SDT partners with a supplier that produces manhole covers from a patented eco-friendly polymer material. Get underground connectivity, eliminate the risk of electrocution, and customize the colors of the manhole colors for better urban design.
FOTA enables simultaneous firmware updates on Smart Hubs installed at multiple sites without having to schedule software maintenance visits.
The Smart Hub is a PSA-certified product that meets standard cybersecurity requirements against IoT security threats. Smart Hub is IoT Core certified for AWS cloud services.
