As IonQ expands its global presence, SDT is strengthening its role as a strategic partner for quantum system manufacturing, integration, and deployment across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. At the center of this collaboration will be a dedicated quantum facility in Gumi, South Korea. The facility will serve as a regional hub for IonQ's quantum hardware manufacturing and system assembly, while supporting the deployment and operation of IonQ quantum systems for customers across the region. SDT will also work with IonQ to expand its capabilities in the manufacturing of quantum components and the integration of complete quantum systems. As part of this collaboration, IonQ's Superion 256 system will be prioritized for SDT client projects in Korea. One of the initial projects will involve deployment at a cancer center, where SDT and IonQ intend to establish hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure for medical data processing and biomedical research.
